Dredge Mechanic – Marine Vessel Maintenance

About the role

The Dredge Mechanic will join NMDC Group’s dredging team in Dubai, ensuring the reliable operation of mechanical systems on a cutter suction dredger. This full‑time position involves hands‑on maintenance and repair of vessel equipment in a marine environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment aboard the cutter suction dredger.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with the dredging crew to support safe and efficient vessel operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to marine safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on approach with a solid understanding of marine engineering principles.
• Experience working on marine vessels or similar heavy‑equipment environments.
• Ability to work effectively in offshore conditions and as part of a multidisciplinary crew.
