Drone Assembly Technician

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Drone Assembly Technician for a 6‑month project at Microavia’s Silicon Oasis facility in Dubai. The role involves assembling drone frames, integrating avionics and electronic components, and ensuring high‑quality production standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble drone frames according to CAD models, technical drawings and work instructions.
• Fit and integrate components such as motors, PCBs, ESCs, flight controllers and wiring.
• Perform functional tests and troubleshoot structural or electronic defects.
• Prepare and assemble wires, cables, connectors, including cutting, stripping, crimping and soldering.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with specifications and tolerances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience assembling drones or comparable electromechanical devices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently or within a team.
