Dugong and Seagrass Hub Information Architecture and Content Management Consultant

About the role

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a short‑term consultant to redesign and update the Dugong and Seagrass Hub, an online knowledge platform supporting seagrass conservation and coastal livelihoods across several Asian countries. The consultant will work remotely for one month, reporting directly to the Project Manager of the IKI Seagrass Ecosystem Services Project.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the current structure and content of the Dugong and Seagrass Hub.
• Develop an improved information architecture that aligns with the final project outputs.
• Update, reorganise, and optimise content to enhance usability, accessibility, and technical robustness.
• Provide recommendations for long‑term maintenance and knowledge dissemination.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure the platform reflects the latest guidance, training materials, and technical resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information architecture, content management, or knowledge‑base redesign.
• Familiarity with environmental or conservation projects is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality results within a tight timeframe.
