Duty Manager (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Duty Manager (Arabic Speaker) ensures smooth front‑desk operations and delivers exceptional guest experiences at the Ritz‑Carlton in Dubai. This full‑time position requires handling check‑ins, payments, and guest requests while maintaining high standards of service and security.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate application.
• Secure payment prior to key issuance, handle vouchers, paid‑outs, and charge processing.
• Compile daily reports, complete cashier and closing reports, and balance receipts.
• Obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures, and notify loss‑prevention of any theft reports.
• Assist management with training, evaluation, counseling and coaching of staff.
• Maintain safety standards, report accidents, and ensure personal appearance is professional.
• Provide directions, property information, and accommodate guest requests, including assistance for guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in guest services, front‑desk or hotel operations.
• Fluent Arabic and professional English communication skills.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking and handling objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow company policies and security procedures.
