Duty Manager – Guest Services

About the role

The Duty Manager at W Hotels in Abu Dhabi ensures smooth front‑desk operations and delivers exceptional guest experiences. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, payments, and any service requests while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Enter and manage Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate application.
• Compile daily cashier, closing reports and manage cash handling procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries, provide property information and coordinate with other departments to fulfil requests.
• Balance receipts, secure bank drops and follow accounting authorisations.
• Report security incidents to Loss Prevention and ensure compliance with safety training.
• Support management in training, evaluating and coaching front‑desk staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in hotel front‑desk or guest services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow accounting and security procedures.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and commitment to company policies.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, lifting up to 10 lb and handling multiple tasks.
