Early Years Teacher

About the role

Jumeira Baccalaureate School is seeking a reliable and skilled Early Years Teacher to join its growing team. The school wants a qualified classroom practitioner who can teach and support young learners in line with the National Curriculum for England.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive, purposeful and challenging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England, using assessment data, student voice and observations to personalise learning.
• Build a learning environment that fosters independence, celebrates neurodiversity and encourages risk-taking, while reflecting regularly on teaching practice.
• Assess, record and report on student development, progress and attainment, and guide students to set targets with regular feedback.
• Collaborate across the primary team, take part in extra-curricular and community initiatives, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school culture.
• Engage in professional growth by setting personal learning goals and committing to lifelong learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant degree, with a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS or equivalent.
• Preferred but not mandatory: at least 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised or international school setting.
• Knowledge of working with inspection authorities such as DSIB or OFSTED is listed as a core competency.
• Successful candidates will undergo background checks including references, proof of qualifications, identification and police checks, including overseas checks.

• Outstanding classroom practitioner, reflective, solutions-focused and culturally sensitive.
