Electrical Delivery Engineer – Power Transmission Projects

About the role

The Electrical Delivery Engineer supports the Program Delivery Managers on the TRANSCO‑NEXUS project, overseeing construction, commissioning and handover of substations, gid‑stations, STATCOM and overhead lines. This PMC‑type role coordinates multiple supervision consultants and EPC contractors from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day on‑site activities, schedules and performance across project phases.
• Lead planning, execution and successful delivery of the power transmission package, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines and budget.
• Coordinate activities with supervision consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, schedules and resource allocations.
• Track project performance against KPIs, prepare regular progress reports and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and oversee commissioning and energisation plans.
• Facilitate risk management processes and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power transmission construction.
• Proven experience as a PMC, supervision consultant or EPC on complex transmission projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Expertise in electrical engineering principles for power transmission and distribution.
• Proficiency with project management software for scheduling and resource management.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations and best practices related to power transmission.
