About the role
Jacobs is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join its Cities and Places Design team in Dubai. You will work on large‑scale projects, delivering high‑quality electrical design solutions for building services.
Key responsibilities
- Support a multidisciplinary project team with electrical design deliverables.
- Produce detailed calculations for electrical load estimation.
- Develop lighting designs, including control systems.
- Design low‑voltage power distribution for lighting, small power and technical equipment.
- Create standby power supply and fire alarm system designs.
- Utilise BIM tools to integrate designs into overall project models.
Required profile
- UAE national with an accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong written and visual communication skills for all stakeholder levels.
Required skills
- Electrical load estimation and calculations.
- Lighting design with control systems.
- Low‑voltage power distribution design.
- Standby power supply system design.

- Proficiency with BIM software.
