Electrical Engineer – Construction Supervision (UAE)

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its construction supervision team for major road and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role involves overseeing electrical works, ensuring compliance with local standards, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installations on roads, infrastructure services, and landscape works.
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and test protocols.
• Monitor progress, update Resident Engineer and Project Manager, and maintain as‑built records.
• Coordinate material reviews and design queries with the head‑office design team.
• Conduct client coordination, reporting, and communication with all building disciplines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on RTA or DEWA‑related infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of DEWA and RTA standards and specifications.
• Experience in road, bridge, transport, or highway projects; commercial/residential experience not preferred.
