Electrical Engineer III (6‑month contract)

About the role

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III for a six‑month fixed‑term assignment in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering engineering work on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards for oil‑and‑gas, refinery, power and desalination projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and finalize project scope, specifications, calculations and contract documents.
• Prepare engineering philosophy, specifications and detailed design deliverables (datasheets, load lists, system studies, SLDs, schematics, cable schedules).
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, instrumentation, civil, structural, piping).
• Plan and schedule electrical engineering tasks, respond to technical queries and tender clarifications.
• Conduct pre‑commissioning, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment on‑shore and off‑shore.
• Ensure compliance with international, organisational and customer standards, as well as Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical (or equivalent technical training).
• Minimum 8 years of experience as an electrical engineer in oil & gas, refinery, power or petrochemical environments.
• Proven ability to lead design studies, perform engineering calculations and manage project deliverables.
