Electrical Engineer

About the role

Ideal Energy is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join its MEP construction team in Abu Dhabi. You will manage electrical works from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover on major residential, commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review electrical systems and installations according to project specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical, shop, and as‑built drawings, load schedules, and related documentation using AutoCAD and other engineering tools.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to obtain approvals and ensure compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and feasibility studies for new and ongoing projects.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and authority inspections to ensure successful project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP construction, fit‑out, or building services projects within the UAE.
• Approved ADQCC Engineer status.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements (ADQCC, TAQA, ADDC, Civil Defence, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
