Electrical Engineer – Overhead Transmission Lines (220kV+)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on overhead transmission lines operating above 220 kV. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves managing complex infrastructure projects from conception through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site project management for high‑voltage transmission line installations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Oversee quality control and structural engineering aspects of the projects.
• Guide and supervise a team of electrical engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and make decisive decisions to keep projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years working in the UAE.
• Proven track record in executing overhead transmission line projects above 220 kV.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel as required, with the ability to join within 30 days.
