Electrical Technician – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Electrical Technician will ensure the reliable operation of all electrical systems across Atlantis The Royal, a luxury resort in Dubai. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of facilities, from guest rooms to recreational water systems.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain electrical distribution circuitry, wiring, and circuit protection devices.
• Carry out preventive and condition‑based maintenance on motors, starters, lighting systems and other electrical equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide shift coverage as required.
• Maintain accurate records, follow manufacturer guidelines and property manuals.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Report cleanliness issues and keep work areas tidy before, during and after tasks.
• Train and mentor junior staff on electrical procedures and safety practices.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in a facilities maintenance trade.
• Formal education from a trade school or higher education institution related to electrical work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work during building emergencies and shift coverage.

Required skills

• Electrical distribution circuitry and wiring.
• Circuit protection, three‑phase and single‑phase power.
