Electrician – Maintenance & Facilities

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our facilities team at W Hotels in Dubai. The role focuses on routine maintenance of property vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. You will work closely with the engineering department to support daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on property vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans and electric carts (checking oil, fluid levels, tire pressure, charging batteries, replacing spark plugs).
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Log daily operation, maintenance and safety activities, recording test results and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets and handle confidential information.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, prepare accurate written documents and answer telephone inquiries professionally.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school education.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Willingness to work onsite in Dubai.
