Embryologist – IVF Lab (Dubai, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Embryologist to join a Dubai‑based fertility centre’s Embryology & Andrology laboratory. Working alongside the Senior Embryologist and Consultant, you will support daily lab operations that keep each patient’s IVF journey on track.

Key responsibilities

• Support lab‑based fertility investigation and treatment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Maintain Health and Safety and IVF Lab Policy documentation, updating SOPs in line with Fertilisation Law.
• Assist the Consultant with centre statistics, audits, research and KPIs.
• Manage sample labelling, witnessing procedures and liquid nitrogen storage levels.
• Respond to equipment alarms and ensure quality and documentation control.
• Perform embryo transfers, fertilization, egg retrieval, ICSI, assisted hatching and sperm preparation under supervision.
• Communicate treatment progress and results to patients and families.
• Carry out routine embryology and andrology tasks such as culture media preparation, seminal fluid analysis, semen cryopreservation, sperm retrieval (MESA, PESA, TESE), oocyte and embryo culture, blastocyst grading and freezing/thawing.
• Maintain quality control, assurance and improvement standards and keep all records current.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Applied Science, Biology or Medical Science with a Human Embryology emphasis.
• Valid licence from the relevant health authority.
• Minimum five years of experience in an assisted reproduction centre.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, emotionally sensitive clinical environment.
