Emergency Response Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response Manager to lead corporate emergency preparedness and fire protection initiatives across projects and operational plants in Dubai. The role involves designing comprehensive disaster response plans, supervising fire safety operations, and managing the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and evacuation procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support fire officials, specialists, engineers, safety officers, and firefighters within an international team.
• Develop, review, and implement site‑specific fire, ERT and emergency policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with fire codes, standards and best practices across all locations.
• Lead, supervise and evaluate the performance of the Emergency Response Team and related personnel.
• Design and conduct major and joint fire drills, providing post‑drill recommendations.
• Oversee the selection, evaluation and training of ERT members.
• Monitor and improve the Nomac Emergency Response Preparedness Improvement & Sustainability (NERPI&S) program.
• Evaluate contractor performance against company safety requirements and advise on property protection.
• Support sites with fire suppression, detection systems, PPE, fire equipment and fire trucks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a fire‑related discipline (e.g., fire chemistry, fire engineering).
• Proven experience in fire protection, emergency preparedness, and incident investigation.
• Strong knowledge of international fire codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in high‑pressure environments.
