Emiratization & Government Relations Manager

About the role

The Emiratization & Government Relations Manager will lead Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s Emiratization strategy and act as the primary liaison with UAE government authorities. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent & Culture, the role ensures compliance with national workforce objectives and supports the development and retention of Emirati talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel’s Emiratization strategy in line with UAE regulations and business objectives.
• Lead the full lifecycle of Emirati associates – attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement and retention.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund and other regulatory bodies.
• Oversee visa, labour contract, Emirates ID and related government processes, ensuring timely renewals and full compliance.
• Manage Nafis participation and Abu Dhabi Pension Fund reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with department leaders to create career pathways, succession plans and development opportunities for Emirati talent.
• Monitor Emiratization performance metrics and report on compliance.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of Emiratization programs and UAE national workforce initiatives.
• Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and government compliance requirements.
• Experience liaising with government entities and managing regulatory processes.
• Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders to align talent development with business goals.
