Engineer, Drilling Performance

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer, Drilling Performance to join ADNOC’s Drilling Services Division in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on execution, data management, reporting, analytics, compliance coordination and process support to drive performance excellence across drilling operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and analyse operational performance data from DSD & IDS functions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI reports and maintain performance databases and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting tools.
• Monitor metrics such as NPT, tool reliability, utilization, personnel competency and operational performance.
• Conduct trend and root‑cause analysis, generate performance scorecards and support predictive analytics initiatives.
• Support quality management system implementation, audit programs and corrective‑preventive action tracking.
• Administer competency records, training matrices and coordinate training schedules.
• Assist digitalisation efforts and system support for reporting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in drilling performance monitoring, data analytics or related engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of KPI reporting, quality assurance and compliance within drilling operations.
• Experience with database management and business intelligence tools.
