Engineer Fire Suppression Certification

About the role

UL Solutions is seeking a dedicated Engineer to lead fire suppression certification projects in the UAE. The role focuses on delivering UL and EN certification services for fire suppression products, supporting customers entering the EU market.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requests and determine the necessary certification steps.
• Prepare quotations and support the sales team with technical input.
• Create detailed project plans, monitor progress and provide concise reports to management.
• Coordinate test schedules with internal and external laboratories worldwide.
• Ensure projects meet agreed timelines and maintain strict adherence to schedules.
• Conduct on‑site witness tests with customers or at external labs, including travel as required.

Required profile

• Strong organisational talent with a structured approach to work.
• Experience in project‑based engineering environments.
• Ability to objectively evaluate technical requirements and propose optimal solutions.
• Responsibility for meeting deadlines and delivering high‑quality results.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UL certification standards for fire suppression systems.
• Familiarity with EN standards applicable to the EU market.
