Engineer II - Aeromechanical

About the role

The Engineer II – Aeromechanical is responsible for the aeromechanical integration of weapon systems onto aircraft platforms, ensuring mechanical compatibility, structural integrity, and safe carriage and release. The role covers interface definition, loads, vibration, aeroelastic and dynamic analysis, as well as design reviews and test support.

Key responsibilities

• Define and verify mechanical interfaces between weapons, suspension equipment and aircraft structures.
• Conduct structural, loads, vibration, aeroelastic and dynamic analyses to assess integration impacts.
• Support design, integration and readiness reviews with technical inputs and analysis results.
• Prepare and execute ground and flight test activities, including instrumentation and data review.
• Ensure compliance with military standards, airworthiness requirements and internal engineering procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in defense or aerospace, preferably in aircraft‑weapon integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with exposure to aeromechanical, loads, vibration or aeroelasticity.
• Working knowledge of safety‑critical development processes and applicable standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.
• Experience using MATLAB for numerical analysis.
• Familiarity with CFD tools for aerodynamic analysis.
