Engineer – Project MOC Management of Change

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead the Management of Change (MOC) function on a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves controlling and documenting all engineering, procurement and construction changes while ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, control and document changes to EPC project scope, schedule and cost.
• Liaise between engineering disciplines, contractors and clients such as ADNOC to obtain necessary approvals.
• Review technical submittals and assess their impact on project baseline.
• Handle contractor claims related to change orders.
• Conduct site inspections to verify implementation of approved changes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years experience in oil‑and‑gas processing projects, with at least 3‑5 years dedicated to MOC for EPCM contracts.
• Proven experience in EPC project environments and familiarity with ADNOC processes is an advantage.
