Engineer – Stakeholder Management (Infrastructure)

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Engineer – Stakeholder Management to join its infrastructure team in the United Arab Emirates. In this role you will act as the primary liaison between project teams and external parties, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with government authorities, utility providers, developers, contractors, and asset owners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously refine the project’s Stakeholder Management Plan, covering identification and mapping of all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain transparent working relationships with clients, government authorities, utility providers, asset owners, developers and contractors through proactive engagement and regular communication.
• Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings, technical workshops and coordination sessions to secure timely approvals and permits.
• Identify interface risks, create mitigation plans and support permitting processes in line with UAE authority procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of experience in infrastructure project management.
• Strong analytical mindset and diplomatic approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
