Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team in Abu Dhabi, overseeing the development and implementation of FEED/EPC design and detailed engineering for complex projects. This role ensures technical integrity, compliance with regulations and standards, and successful delivery of multi‑discipline studies and plant modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage FEED/EPC design and detailed engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Develop and supervise feasibility and techno‑economic studies for new facilities and modifications.
• Control project plans, budgets and schedules, providing regular progress updates to management.
• Ensure technical assurance and integrity by conducting technical audits and design reviews.
• Review and approve critical multidisciplinary engineering documents, including Basis of Design and execution plans.
• Monitor contractor compliance, engineering quality and address deviations through corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead engineering projects and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in controlling project budgets and schedules.
• Strong understanding of legislation, regulatory commitments and international codes.
