Engineering Manager

About the role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its Engineering Department in Dubai. You will oversee a multi‑disciplinary team of engineers and draughtsmen, ensuring delivery of high‑quality EPC designs for tanks, pressure vessels, piping, electrical & instrumentation, and civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver detailed engineering and design packages that meet international standards (ASME, ISO, API, ASNT) and project schedules.
• Manage end‑to‑end engineering processes, from tender through construction, ensuring design integrity, budget compliance, and timely execution.
• Monitor productivity during tender and engineering phases, optimizing discipline interfaces to avoid clashes.
• Provide on‑site technical support, issue resolution, and change management during construction.
• Promote best‑practice engineering, cost‑effective material selection, and continuous improvement of the department’s knowledge base.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a strong safety culture and strict EHS compliance.
• Report performance, tender evaluation progress, and deliverable status to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15–20 years of experience on Mechanical EPC projects in Oil, Gas, or Power sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of E&C methodology, QA/QC, inspection & test procedures, and international design codes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Proficiency in MS Project.
