Engineering Practical Trainer / Assessor B1 (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates Engineering Training seeks an experienced Engineering Practical Trainer / Assessor B1 to deliver hands‑on maintenance training and assessments for the National Engineering Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence (AMEL) programme and type‑specific training on the Emirates fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and deliver practical maintenance training and assessments covering aircraft handling, maintenance actions, procedures, and behavioural performance.
• Prepare and supervise Structured Practical Training (SPT) and On‑Job Training (OJT) for all aircraft types in the fleet.
• Coordinate aircraft allocation with the Scheduling, Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance departments.
• Generate required documentation (NRI, logbook entries) in line with the Engineering Procedure Manual.
• Ensure completion of SPT, OJT and AMEL logbooks and compliance with the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition before certificate issuance.
• Monitor trainee performance closely and report any outstanding issues to shift managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering or training.
• Valid UAE‑GCAA CAR 66 AMEL CAT B1 (or B1 + B2) licence.
• Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work onsite in a high‑security maintenance environment.
