Engineering Storekeeper

About the role

The Engineering Storekeeper provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Engineering Department of Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain attendance, scheduling records and assist the Engineering Manager with daily administrative tasks.
• Operate the CMMS to log, dispatch, monitor and close maintenance work orders.
• Establish and keep digital and physical filing systems for engineering records, inspection reports and compliance documents.
• Manage the engineering store: receive, store, issue and track spare parts, tools and consumables, and raise purchase requisitions to maintain optimal stock levels.

Required profile

• Previous administrative, coordination or store‑management experience, preferably in a hotel, hospitality or facilities‑management environment.
• Proficiency with online software, CMMS, MS Outlook and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good written and verbal communication to interact with technical staff, management and guests.
• Familiarity with inventory best practices such as FIFO and min/max stock levels is a plus.
