About the role

Al Salam Private School is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join its experienced teaching team. The role focuses on delivering engaging English and Global Perspective lessons aligned with the British Curriculum for Key Stage 2 students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English and Global Perspective lessons following the British Curriculum.
• Support students' academic progress while building confidence and critical thinking.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and contribute to school initiatives.
• Promote student wellbeing and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified English Teacher with experience teaching the British Curriculum at KS2 level.
• Proven track record of achieving outstanding student outcomes.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and supporting their overall development.
• Successful completion of enhanced pre‑employment screening (background, qualification, reference checks).
