English Teacher – Cycle 2 & 3 (American Curriculum)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICSchools) in Al Falah City is seeking a motivated English Teacher for Cycle 2 and Cycle 3. The role involves delivering the American curriculum to primary and middle‑school students, fostering a love of learning and supporting academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with American curriculum standards.
• Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and implement individualized strategies.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive classroom culture.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings and collaborative planning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student performance.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons.
• Support extracurricular activities and school events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a PGDE/PGCE or teaching diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the American curriculum and ability to adapt it for an international context.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to tailor teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
