About the role

GEMS Metropole School is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its vibrant faculty in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality English instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, while contributing to a dynamic, multicultural learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons for secondary students.
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to improve their language skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Required profile

• B.Ed. or subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching English at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Excellent IT proficiency for classroom technology integration.
