Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Estimation Engineer will play a pivotal role in project management by delivering accurate cost forecasts for upcoming construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure financial viability and budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering labor, materials, and time.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and scopes to prepare detailed project estimates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine estimates.
• Identify and assess financial risks associated with project proposals.
• Prepare cost analysis reports to support funding decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate quotations.
• Maintain an estimation database and update estimates as project conditions evolve.
• Perform cost‑benefit analyses and monitor ongoing project costs to avoid overruns.
• Participate in post‑project reviews comparing estimated versus actual costs.
• Support business development by preparing bid proposals and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project estimation or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
