Estimation Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Estimation Manager to lead our cost estimation function for projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee a team of estimators, work closely with engineering, procurement and project management, and deliver accurate, competitive bids that align with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimation team to produce timely and precise cost estimates.
• Develop detailed project estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs and contingencies.
• Review and approve team estimates to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement to gather data for accurate forecasting.
• Analyse historical data and industry benchmarks to improve estimation accuracy and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support bid and proposal processes by providing technical and financial insights.
• Maintain and update estimation templates, databases and tools to boost efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, material costs and labour rates to keep estimates current.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in project estimation, preferably within construction, manufacturing or oil & gas.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with estimation software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Experience with ERP or project management software (preferred).
