Estimation & Proposal Engineer – Mechanical (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated fresh graduate to join our team as an Estimation & Proposal Engineer – Mechanical in Dubai. The role offers an opportunity to develop a career in the technical‑commercial side of oil & gas, EPC and industrial engineering projects within the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents, engineering drawings and technical specifications to understand project scope.
• Perform accurate material take‑offs (MTO) from mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Excel.
• Coordinate with sub‑vendors to request quotations, collect quotes and prepare baseline technical price comparisons.
• Assist senior estimation engineers in calculating direct costs for labour, equipment and mechanical materials.
• Help compile technical literature, compliance statements and commercial bid documents for final submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (fresh graduate or entry‑level).
• Arab national with native‑level Arabic and business‑level English (written and spoken).
• Currently residing in the UAE with a valid, transferable or family‑sponsored visa.
• Strong numerical aptitude, structural thinking and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for costing models.
• Basic operation of AutoCAD for material take‑offs.
