EU Project Manager (Research Services)

About the role

The INSEAD Research Support Service seeks a part‑time EU Project Manager to coordinate research projects that receive EU and international funding. Working closely with the Associate Director of Research Services, you will oversee projects from pre‑award to post‑award, ensuring timely financial and narrative reporting to consortium partners.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project performance, maintain oversight, planning, coordination, implementation and quality assurance.
• Prepare and deliver narrative and financial reports in line with donor and organisational requirements.
• Support work streams to achieve project goals and produce up‑to‑date status reports for staff, management and the INSEAD Board.
• Track activities and expenses, manage cost‑efficient administrative and internal financial procedures, and provide periodic financial reports.
• Identify and scout EU funding opportunities and assist in proposal development.
• Represent the project at internal and external events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (EU studies advantageous).
• At least 1 year of experience in project management, research initiatives and public‑funding programmes.
• Familiarity with Horizon 2020 or similar EU research frameworks; experience with EC‑funded projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop successful proposals for EU/international research projects and manage multi‑country projects.
• Good understanding of gender and inclusion policies is desirable.
