Event Manager - Production

About the role

The Event Manager – Production will lead the technical and production delivery of live events such as concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, conferences and entertainment shows. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all production elements while maintaining safety, quality and budget standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end production delivery from technical requirements through load‑in, rehearsals, live show and load‑out.
• Review technical riders, stage layouts, schedules and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate audio, lighting, LED screens, video, staging, rigging, trussing, power distribution, special effects and technical communications.
• Liaise with promoters, production companies, technical suppliers and touring crews to ensure venue compatibility.
• Supervise suppliers, contractors and technical crews, and resolve technical issues during rehearsals and live events.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, risk assessments and approved method statements.
• Support budget preparation, supplier cost management and post‑event debriefs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Technical Production, Event Production, Live Entertainment, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience delivering large‑scale live productions such as concerts, sporting events or conferences.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects in arena or venue environments.
