Executive Chef

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. The role combines strategic planning, financial stewardship and creative menu development to deliver world‑class dining experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the hotel’s strategic planning and set annual culinary revenue, food cost, payroll and profitability targets.
• Review monthly P&L, collaborate with Food & Beverage and Finance on forecasting, menu engineering, purchasing and cost optimisation.
• Develop and execute the culinary strategy for each outlet, ensuring a distinct identity and competitive positioning.
• Lead daily kitchen operations, maintain quality, presentation and brand standards, and drive seasonal menus, activations and signature experiences.
• Control food costs, minimise waste and improve operational efficiency.
• Support large‑scale events such as weddings, conferences and VIP functions, and contribute to new hotel openings and special projects.
• Coach, mentor and develop the culinary team, ensuring ongoing training and talent growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury hotel or resort culinary management.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to meet revenue and cost targets.
• Leadership skills to inspire and develop a diverse kitchen team.
• Ability to innovate menus aligned with guest preferences and market trends.
