Executive Director

About the role

The client seeks an Executive Director to lead a high‑profile infrastructure and urban development programme for a UAE government entity. This senior position provides the single point of executive accountability, translating client objectives into an integrated delivery mandate across scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary senior interface with UAE government executives, approval and funding authorities.
• Establish and maintain clear governance, authority and communication structures across multi‑party delivery environments.
• Translate client objectives into an integrated delivery mandate and ensure alignment with scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk.
• Provide executive oversight of programme mobilisation, scheduling strategy development and performance control reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience, with proven leadership at programme or portfolio level for large, complex infrastructure or urban development programmes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline; post‑graduate qualification in engineering management or an MBA is typically expected.
• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC environment.
• Chartered status (CEng/FICE) or PgMP/PfMP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
