Executive Director Structured Products and Client Solutions

About the role

The Executive Director of Structured Products and Client Solutions will lead the Global Markets Structured Trading & Solutions desk, overseeing the design, pricing and execution of complex structured financing transactions. The role combines strategic business development with hands‑on risk and profitability management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business strategy, driving customer flow to exceed budget targets.
• Structure and execute transactions involving illiquid assets such as loans, private debt, private equity, CLOs, receivable securitisation and insurance‑backed financing.
• Expand product offerings, improve processes, and mentor junior traders.
• Collaborate with sales teams to price deals, support client visits and generate market commentary.
• Work closely with quant teams to calibrate pricing models, valuation curves and XVA calculations.
• Maintain compliance with risk, counter‑party and regulatory limits while identifying new product and regional opportunities.
• Build and sustain relationships with counterparties, brokers and market participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structured finance, trading or solutions within a major bank or financial institution.
• Proven track record of managing a profitable desk and delivering innovative structured products.
• Strong understanding of capital structures, risk metrics and regulatory frameworks.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of structured financing of illiquid assets.
• Experience with pricing and valuation of complex financial products.
• Ability to work with quant teams on model development and calibration.
• Excellent client‑facing and relationship‑building capabilities.
