Executive Manager - Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Join Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank’s Group Compliance & Governance team as an Executive Manager, driving regulatory and compliance excellence across Corporate & Investment Banking. You will ensure the bank meets all UAE Central Bank requirements while shaping policies for emerging products and market conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and compliance advisory support, focusing on Corporate & Investment Banking, to meet CBUAE requirements.
• Review and analyse new products, services, policies, procedures, and client‑facing documentation, delivering clear written feedback.
• Conduct gap analysis on new or amended laws, interpret impact, and lead implementation of changes across the bank, subsidiaries, and branches.
• Manage breach reporting processes, including mailbox oversight, logging, escalation, and reporting significant breaches to the CBUAE.
• Oversee the Consumer Protection and Market Conduct framework, escalating serious deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure the outsourcing framework aligns fully with CBUAE requirements.
• Deliver the insider‑trading programme, maintain breach registers, and report material issues to regulators.
• Administer conduct compliance programmes (whistleblowing, conflicts of interest, Chinese walls, ABC) and maintain the regulatory matrix.
• Design and deliver training sessions on conduct and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in banking compliance or regulatory advisory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE banking rules, regulations, and CBUAE expectations.
• Proven ability to interpret legislation, perform gap analysis, and implement compliance solutions.
