Experienced Pet Groomer (Full‑time, Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced pet groomer to join Groomy’s Abu Dhabi facility. The successful candidate will ensure that dogs and cats receive high‑quality bathing, trimming and styling in a calm, stress‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dematting, detangling and grooming hair of various sizes and temperaments.
• Bathing, conditioning, drying and styling pets according to owner instructions or standard styles.
• Trimming nails, brushing teeth, cleaning ears and performing sanitary trims.
• Identifying health issues such as ear infections, skin conditions or tooth decay and informing owners.
• Maintaining grooming tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keeping work areas clean and recommending suitable products to pet owners.
• Collaborating with colleagues across retail, clinic, physiotherapy, daycare and pet‑taxi services.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional pet grooming experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in the UAE veterinary market and familiarity with local client expectations.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑focused and able to work in a fast‑paced team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with grooming tools, clippers, dryers and related equipment.
• Ability to assess basic pet health indicators during grooming.
• Capability to recommend grooming and care products based on pet needs.
