Explosives Operator – Wireline Logging

About the role

Responsible for safely handling, transporting and detonating explosives during wireline logging operations. The role ensures compliance with all safety regulations while supporting efficient wellbore activities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle, transport and store explosives and detonating devices in line with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and deploy explosive charges and detonating systems for wellbore operations with precision.
• Coordinate explosive activities with the logging services team to integrate seamlessly into overall operations.
• Maintain tools, safety gear and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
• Collect technical data from the field and contribute to progress reports and method statements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in explosives handling, preferably in oil and gas.
• Certification or training in explosives handling and safety is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with wireline logging operations and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in challenging environments.
