Express Product Development Controller

About the role

The Express Product Development Controller will drive research and analysis of global supply‑chain trends, trade flows and customer requirements to shape Emirates SkyCargo’s express product portfolio. This role supports revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, designing enhanced solutions and monitoring commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and systematically gather air‑cargo information on global supply‑chain trends, product‑specific trade flows and customer evaluations.
• Analyse gaps between Emirates SkyCargo’s offerings and those of competitors, and provide recommendations for business and product development.
• Develop product concepts, define specifications, quality parameters and high‑level criteria for service providers.
• Quantify market opportunities, prepare high‑level business cases and estimate yield and revenue for targeted segments.
• Liaise with cargo managers, internal and external customers, and supplier partners to collect operational details and manage documentation.
• Guide the simplification of product/solution guidelines and ensure performance monitoring across operational aspects.
• Manage supplier contracting processes and relationships for established products and solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in air‑cargo or logistics product development and business analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends, gaps and commercial performance.
• Capability to develop business cases, quantify opportunities and set commercial targets.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with internal teams, customers and external partners.
• Ability to translate research findings into actionable product recommendations.
