EYFS Teacher – Maternity Cover (Jan 2027)

About the role

Deira International School is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to cover a maternity leave period starting January 2027. The successful candidate will join the Primary team of this award‑winning, KHDA‑rated school in Festival City, Dubai, delivering high‑quality, play‑based learning for children aged 3‑5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum using a personalised, play‑based approach.
• Assess pupils continuously against the EYFS framework and record progress.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the Primary team to ensure seamless transition for students moving to later stages.
• Contribute to the school’s holistic ethos by supporting extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Required profile

• Qualified EYFS teacher with a passion for early childhood education.
• Experience working in an inclusive, high‑performing school setting.
