EYFS Teacher – Maternity Cover (January 2027)

About the role

Deira International School is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to cover a maternity leave starting January 2027. This full‑time position offers the chance to deliver a high‑quality, play‑based curriculum within an award‑winning, inclusive school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess EYFS curriculum using a personalised, play‑based approach.
• Ensure rigorous assessment against the EYFS framework to build strong foundations for future learning.
• Foster an inclusive, safe and stimulating classroom environment for children aged 3‑5.
• Collaborate with senior staff and other teachers to maintain the school’s high standards of teaching and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with proven experience in early years education.
• Passion for delivering a holistic, child‑centred learning experience.
