EYFS Teacher – Maternity Cover (January)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our vibrant community on a maternity cover basis starting in January. This full‑time position will involve delivering the EYFS curriculum to children aged 3‑5 in our Festival City campus, supporting their development through play‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based EYFS lessons in line with the UK EYFS framework.
• Assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure continuity of learning across the school.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a B.Ed., PGDE or PGCE (or equivalent) and strong subject knowledge of early years education.
• Experience working with children aged 3‑5, preferably in an international school setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
• Commitment to the school’s values of inclusivity, high expectations and student wellbeing.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and play‑based pedagogy.
