Facade And Firestopping Specialist

About the role

The Facade & Firestopping Specialist will work on‑site in the UAE, reviewing façade and firestopping designs to ensure they meet local civil defence requirements and international fire safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review façade and firestopping designs, drawings and specifications for compliance with UAE Civil Defence and international fire safety codes.
• Conduct on‑site inspections of façade systems and firestopping installations, document findings and produce technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and authority representatives to resolve design issues and support approval processes.
• Participate in testing and commissioning activities and provide technical guidance on best practices.
• Maintain and update documentation required for authority submissions and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of façade systems, passive fire protection and firestopping design and installation.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings for high‑rise or complex developments.
• Experience with fire & life safety code compliance and building code requirements in the UAE.
• Proven experience conducting site inspections and preparing detailed technical reports.
