Facilities Assistant

About the role

Walkers Professional Services is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, safety and security of its Dubai office. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure a safe, compliant and well‑maintained workplace for employees, clients and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify defects, hazards and maintenance needs.
• Raise, track and close facilities work orders, coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, contractor documentation and asset registers.
• Support health‑ and fire‑safety activities, emergency preparedness drills and business continuity plans.
• Assist with general facilities administration and reporting.

Required profile

• Organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to follow up on corrective actions.
• Good communication skills to liaise with contractors, internal teams and visitors.
• Awareness of health, safety and security standards in an office environment.
