About the role

The Facilities Manager ensures seamless operation and maintenance of physical spaces, creating safe, efficient, and comfortable work environments. This role involves overseeing daily building operations, strategic planning, and resource allocation while collaborating with various departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs using facility management software.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts to achieve best value.
• Manage facility budgets, analyze expenditures and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Conduct regular inspections, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff, providing training and fostering a safety‑focused culture.
• Collaborate with departments to understand and meet their facility needs.
• Implement sustainability initiatives, focusing on energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management detailing performance metrics and recommendations.
