Facility Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Facility Maintenance Technician will ensure that all equipment, machinery, and building systems at Joud Coffee operate safely and efficiently. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to any emergencies that may arise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Replace light bulbs, sockets, and repair circuit breaker panels as needed.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and facility‑related problems, including mechanical issues.
• Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation and refrigeration systems.
• Implement and follow a preventive maintenance schedule to minimise downtime.
• Inspect alarm systems and arrange repairs when required.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies, including outside regular working hours.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Coordinate with the Facility Manager and order supplies as necessary.

Required profile

• Ability to work safely and comply with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and inventory management.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate maintenance activities with the Facility Manager and team members.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies promptly, even outside standard hours.
