Facility Technician

About the role

AirQ is seeking a Facility Technician to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and upkeep of its offices, workshops, warehouses and other facilities. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of contractors and internal teams to keep the environment safe, functional and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and carry out general maintenance, repair and troubleshooting across electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry domains.
• Support renovation, modification and equipment relocation projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate external contractors, monitor their work, enforce site safety procedures and verify completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, tools and maintenance activities, including asset tagging and periodic verification.
• Assist the Facilities team with day‑to‑day operational needs, emergency maintenance and overall facility cleanliness and safety.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI or vocational qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in facilities, building or property maintenance.
• Practical, safety‑conscious and able to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
