F&B Hostess – Abu Dhabi

About the role

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a warm, confident and service‑oriented F&B Hostess to be the first and last point of contact for guests in its restaurant venues. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations and ensure a smooth dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and present menus.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest enquiries and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Maintain an organized reservation and seating system, coordinating table availability with the restaurant team.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries professionally.
• Communicate special requests, dietary requirements, celebrations and VIP information to relevant team members.
• Support servers, supervisors and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods and special events.
• Keep the hostess desk, menus and entrance area clean, organized and presentable.
• Uphold hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest‑facing Food & Beverage role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance with strong grooming standards.
• Ability to remain calm, positive and welcoming in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
